Is Bicycle Disposal Really Necessary?

Yes. In land-scarce Singapore, abandoned or improperly stored bicycles can quickly become a nuisance.

HDB void decks & corridors: Town councils may tag and remove bikes left unattended.
Condos: Management often issues warnings or clears abandoned bicycles.
Landed homes: A rusty bike in the yard takes up valuable space.

Can Old Bicycles Be Donated or Recycled?

It depends on the condition.
